An Idea Is Born
On the evening of December 31st, 2020, I found myself sitting at the kitchen table, reflecting on life’s next chapter. I was a full-time student in my final semester, juggling the weight of my studies and the joy of motherhood. My daughter, Summer Nikole, had always been my light and I started thinking about a new way for us to connect, create, and grow something meaningful together.
That’s when the spark came: Summer Nikole’s Candles.
We’re a proud mother-daughter duo on a mission to create more than just candles we're building memories, legacy, and light.
My name is Nikole Gomez, a 36-year-old mom to an extraordinary, vibrant 13-year-old girl named Summer Nikole. We started Summon A Close Candle as a way to stay connected during uncertain times a way to bring a little extra sunshine into our lives, and hopefully yours, too.
But this is more than just a business. It’s a lesson in love, learning, and entrepreneurship. I wanted to show my daughter what’s possible when you create with intention, work with heart, and believe in your magic. Every fragrance we’ve chosen together holds a story, and each name carries meaning that’s special to Summer herself.
Our candles are crafted not just to smell amazing but to inspire, comfort, and connect.
